I don't know how anyone ever went out to the outhouse in Minnesota. Man O'man that musta been cold! My friend from Enland would have died, he is afraid of every single bug he sees here. LOL

My grandparents had one with a metal seat. You always tried to hold it if you had to sit down in the winter - that cold draft coming up from beneath the cold metal seat. brent

The most amazing thing about this one is that it was active until the older Pennsylvania Dutch couple moved out in 2009!

you need at least one of these in every variable place,, (don't you wish you had thought of the portojohn),, You and I would have been rich,,, actually, if we start a company where those plastic looking things are delivered more like these,,, the people in upscale NJ, would like them better,, (it is summer time,, they could have a Li'ld Abner Picnic theme for their summer barbe-que),, Happy Summer Shirley
