Elko Nevada. This part of the world has many Basque families who came to herd sheep. I used to speak a little Basque, but the only thing I can still remember is "where is the bathroom" non dagu kommunera (I can't spell it either).

I love these little american towns because they look so light and provisional, compared to european towns with their tons of history that sometimes suffocate them... I also envy this near and virginal wilderness.
BTW: what town is it? I'm a bit intrigued by this "basque food" because I'm basque ;o)

this is an example of where the primary colors which we colored with as a kid, works, the "crayons",, blue,, yellow, yellow, yellow, parking stops and the up right red fire hyrdant crayon, then the neon red "Club Silver Dollar", and that little red stop sign in the right part of the image,,

I find the midground perticular interesting! No seriously, that's an interesting description you got there. Make me wonder if this is the hole city. The pole in the middle is a bit disturbing though. Can you move a bit to the right without loosing the purpose?
