I've never looked at one of these flowers that have the over hanging petal the same as I am for this challenge. I never thought of that petal to be a protecter of the stamen below. Very nice Brad, well spotted or seeked after!

Brent, this variety is Arisaema sikokianum which has a roundish pulpit and brownish color of the hood.

Brad - that is very odd! I have never see one with a round ball in the "pulpit" - always more like a rod. Is it because it is going to seed? brent
