Thanks for the comments. This was taken at one of the craft markets. As to questions about the giraffes long levity they are normally safe from predators if they are healthy and a bit older. The old and young can fall prey and a effort by lions will eventually catch one but often with damage to the lions . There is one pride of lions that have learnt to catch them in the Kruger Park. They case them down the tarred road and keep them on the road, the Giraffe eventually slips on the tarred road and falls and then they pounce.

Fun in the market, eh? And we are the beneficiaries. This image really sings to me! --Stefan

seeing your images, knowing your country have not always had easy time,, these giraffe faces,,, wow,, they probably can take care of themselves against predatories, until they get old,, correct?,,

I love these! Are they in a museum or for sale in a shop? The photo is just fabulous Collin! I want to pick one up and hold it.

Yes, this is a strong abstract, and it has a particular rhythm, as if these animals were walking towards the camera...

Love it! Great abstract quality to this.
Also, the one in the middle-right looks very aggressive...
in fact a few of them look ready to charge, quite odd for giraffes, which for me adds to the overall appeal.

Wow, I like that. I almost thought they were real to start with.
