I very much like this. It's a familiar image for me. My old stallion is 28 now. Snuffling snow seems to be an equine habit. Love the way it's clinging to the whiskers before it melts.

There really isn't much DOF with that lens combination at close distances and f/5.7 is the maximum aperture for that lens combo. -- Bob K.
