Attractive composition and color. There could be slight discomfort among some viewers due to the apparent closeness of the objects.

I second that. Great feeling of positiveness and light.

What a happy photo! Bright colours, good comp and the innocence of childhood. Well done!

I was a color book fan too! I learned all the names of colors I see based on crayola colors. I love your shot Kim, it's hard to not have happy memories when looking at your photo.

LOL! I love to do this! When my kids were young they would do one page of a coloring book and I would do the other - I taught them to slow down and they taught me to hurry up! best of memories - thanks Kim!

I love the broken crayons - effects of a young hand that is unafraid to apply pressure in the service of art! And the partial glimpses of the art work suggest so many things, without revealing the whole. This is such a cheerful shot. It makes me smile just looking at it.

Ha ha, love it! My daughter still loves to draw on the paper table clothes that some restaurants have, she feels no embarrassment in asking for the children’s crayons – she is 20 :)
