Maybe neatly pruned, but tree looks silly this way, and not enough left to keep it alive. Would have been better to just cut it down!

I agree Art! We lived in a nice apt. with a balcony. There were beautiful pines in the yard, very nice big pines and we could sit out there without anyone seeing us. We loved it! Then some person had this great idea to trim the lower branches off. They trimed them alright! They ended up trimming about 20 feet high and we no longer had the tree cover for our balcony (and a nice view of squirrels and birds) and we stopped going out there. I complained and told them how disappointed we were. We moved soon after that.
