too soon we pass on. I would rather be planted in a cardboard box and be legitamely forgotten 30 years after. Perhaps it is my claustrophobic nature - the idea of being caught in a box with my soul still aware gives me the creeps. 2nd thought cremation sounds pretty dang good.

Hi Brenda this is a small part of a war graves cemetery for the Cape Town service men fallen in conflicts in which South Africa was involved mainly the Boer War , WWI , WWII and the Korean war. It looks like they are standing on parade forever. There are also graves for "enemy" POW’s and they are treated with the same dignity.
