Having a Conversation or Not - Brad

NYC Subway

After the theater on the number 3 line which begins at 145th street in east Harlem, it crosses over the the west side of Manhanttan, I picked it up at 42nd Street (Times Square) to go to Penn Station (34th street) and the line ends up in the Borough of Brooklyn south of Flatbush Avenue

The subway is always a great source of characters - lots of people together ignoring each other. The two women in conversation accentuate the isolation of the rest.

Every single person here has a story of some kind, but they're just marking time till they reach their separate destinations. United in place but not otherwise. The two women do seem to be chatting but no one else is remotely interested in anyone. This is such a striking collection of character shots all rolled into one.

Hahaha. I've been known to tune out a conversation or two. Yup, this one's a keeper. --Stefan

Great shot! These madams are enjoying the evening while their husband seems to be so... resigned?

Yes, this is a good one Brad. I like looking at people, and these all seem to be in their own world, but I wonder how many are really listening to the lady chat. :o)
