Thank you for your comments. This image brought me on mind some old photos I've seen, taken of these same docks in the late XIX - early XX, when they were crowded of merchant ships. endika

I have seen the Amerigo Vespucci and the Mir, when they visited Halifax. This shot truly captures the essence of a Tall Ships festival. It must have been a great day to stroll on the waterfront and enjoy the sights.
