That old stone passageway in the foreground is so cool! I love that dusting of snow on the ground also. My friend Michael has had more snow than he can ever remember there in the Newcastle area. They don't get much snow living off the sea. He is a snow whimp too LOL Great shot Alistair!

One wonders how old the rock wall is, and what it delineated in the past. It seems very massive for a field enclosure! Dramatic shot with its sweep of land and bold sky.

I like very much this old gate that seems to invite to an eerie world. Great treatement, specially the richness of detail.
