Idea is fine, implementation too. I too have those things lying around and the worst thing is, when I decide to trash them, I find I need them few days after that, LOL.

The passage of time and the accumulation of knick-knacks’… We have that in our house too. I mean, I keep useful stuff like old tools, screws, bits of wood etc but the wife collects stuff like this….
