Very good Endika.
The PP description is way over my head though.

Thank you Fred.
Did this in Photoshop. To explain it shortly, the technique consists in copy-paste separately every person and street light with their shadows in different layers. Then duplicate the background and apply a graduated mask to the lower copy to fade it, and finally apply a "find edges" filter to the upper copy and multiply it over the first one (just to keep a bit of detail in the washed out background). Finally I fine tuned the opacity of each layer to get the final appearance I wanted, and saved a copy as jpg. Hope this make some sense...

wow, everyone is isolated but only because they want it that way. well seen and well executed. my question is how did you do this?

Thank you for your comments.
Shirley, you don't need my talent (if there's any) since you already have your very own!
This photo is merely a clumsy divertimento, but it's more or less the idea I had in mind, so I'm happy after all.

I'm loving this one too Endika. I hope you know you are such an inspiration to me! I wish I had your talent for spoting fantastic scenes. Just in case, you better start thinking of a theme lol.

Oh my! How brilliant this is ... the individual's isolation is made manifest with amazing impact. These people are all truly alone in a crowd.

Hmmmph! Now this is really far beyond physics and well into a different dimension. Not a thing out of place! Frank has it right - superb!

This is really good. It shows how cut off and "solo" and a state of seclusion. We are all apart although we are together. I also like the finish on this one as it gives a feeling of loneliness and sterility.
