The surprise snow -ArtP
by ArtP

When yours are the only footprints,
and traffic noise is muffled to silence by the fresh snow,
you can feel like you're alone in the wilderness,
rather than in a 6 acre park in suburbia.

This snow caught everyone off guard and messed up the morning commute, but sure did look pretty!

I like both the poem and the picture.

Even if snow and ice is getting on my nerves here. The fabric roofing on my boat caved in for the second time just now, Iceflakes have tried to steal my boat (and me), My beard is a mess, and i went off the road a few days ago !

Nice prose Art, and so true. Funny how just being with a camera puts us all in a mind of being alone with our world.

You're right Art, there is a great silence that snow creates and the snow on the bushes and trees is such a sight!

This is so pretty! There's nothing like the unexpected freshness of a new snowfall.
