Pensive Kayla - Tom

From a 1920s themed shoot on sunday, light from right alien bee ring flash and bounced hot shoe flash to eliminate shadows. The vignette makes the background look dark but it is lit just very rich dark wood.

I think the treatment very much suits the era here. I can easily imagine a band playing Charleston music in the next room while this young woman takes a break from the dancing.

Alistair I think you are right, but to suit the theme, I think I would have tried to exaggerate the effect of white vignette and turn all the background into a pale scene. I think the model would have been enhanced in this way. It is a great photo anyway, I like very much her expression.

Hi Tom, really really like the photo, but not sure about the pale vignette. I bet it looks really stunning with a dark vignette, but I guess that doesn't go so well with the theme! Anyway, super shot. Alistair
