4th place-The Old Bank, Alistair

Part of our house used to be the village bank, and we still have the frosted window which gives a delightful diffuse light. Not sure what happend to exif, so I'll post original.

Definitely my winner. Reminds me of an old painting my mother use to have hanging in the kitchen of our old old house.

Great light and texture. I like the B&W and the vignette. Works for me.

Just had a look at the original, and i like what you have done to it, but as someone else said the mug disappears a bit in the shade at the top.

This is very pictorial! It brings me on mind the very best of spanish artists of the "Golden Age". Great conversion and treatment. A tad of light in the jar's edge would have helped to define it better? endika

what an amazing still life. I used to have a frosted glass window and loved to shoot with the light through it.

I do wish I had shots like this one in my portfolio. What a calming, soothing, comfy photo. I can smell the pie in the oven and the coffee on the stove.

Thanks Bruce.... no, I've not really used the art filters. I think you're right about the vignette, so I'll replace when PBase will allow (!) Alistair

Lovely Alistair. Is this Pinhole on the E-P1? The vignette looks a little intrusive at the top.
