I'm certainly no botanist :) but it was an interesting challenge, to separate the purple flower from the green background... Lightzone is fantastic for B&W conversion.

Beautiful, Brian!! Our lupines look very different; we call these grape hyacinths. But names are irrelevant; the focus is terrific and I love the way we can see right into the florets.
