This statue was placed just off the Market Square in a small park in Knoxville Tennessee.
This Square represents the revitalization of the downtown area of Knoxville which like many inner cities of the US deteriorated as the people in the 1950s began the move to the suburbs. Recently forward looking people bought the old buildings and turned them into town houses. one advantage to living here is the close access to the new burgeoning businesses blooming in the area.
