What gets me is that you apparently live close enough to go out and shoot this for the competition! Lucky you.

It was a few minutes after sunset--I believe sunset was at about 7:30 PM MDT, and the picture was taken at 7:55. Very low light, 10 second exposure and I still had to boost the brightness and fill in ACR. -Andrew

Amazing how these formed and how long it must of taken for the mountain to erode from around it. Now I'm stuck with the timezones! Was that late evening ? - Colin
