Most of us don't consider parenting as a work, but it is one of the most difficult works if one wants good "results" in the end. Warm nest and light on the could steel bars.
Very nice take to theme, Shirley.

Thank you so much Brenda and Richard. I am taking a photo a day of her now because WOW everyday is like 7 people years! These little birds live to be around 20 years old. Amazing a tiny thing like this could live so long. Oh, and Berry, she is looking 100% better today then she did it this shot. I think me having to clean food out of her brand new feathers wasn't too neat for her. Do you know, even yesterday she was already grooming her little feathers on her own. One day eyes shut, 2 days later she is grooming! I wish I had a camera to take a picture every hour and put them together like a time lapse of her growing up.

A soft and endearing image. The little mama looks so thoughtful and her baby just looks ... well, disheveled. Parental care is obviously the same among birds as it is among people.
