The more I look at this, the more I wish it were hanging on my wall. The colors and the placement of the ice crystals are so attractive. Well seen and beautiful.

Terrific abstract, Fred. There is a nice interaction - not quite a tension - between light and dark here, separated in space and in form. The white carries the straight lines, the dark owns curvature. Blue is the intermediary. The more I look at it, the better it gets, which in some books defines a 'classic.'

Every water surface has it's own ice pattern and that is why the ice is interesting to make photo of it.
