Thanks all. It was taken late afternoon with the sun low. I did my sister's kids a print each for Christmas, and one chose this which surprised me as she's 14.

I'm like Richard, there is something mesmerizing about the patterns water can make. This is very beautiful and the composition, the placement of the single large wave, is really nice. Love those colors Bruce!

I like water images in any form and this one is so easy to look at and there is a since of mystery by not knowing it's size its speed or what generated it. the subtle colors suggest it was shot in the evening.

Nice simple composition with lovely subtle colours. A real feeling of gentle motion in this one.
