Yes the red leaves are eye catching but I wonder if the color selection is created not for us humans but rather to attract some insect species help insure the redbuds survival. Aside from all that I really like it and love the little splash of blue in what appears to be a water drop on the branch.

I bet these pretty red hearts really catch a person's eye. They sure pop out of the screen. It must be a warm climate tree/shrub/bush as I've never seen one.

Really nice how you managed to get these guys composed in an orderly line like this, like the backlighting too.
