Mr Recycle More - Bruce

I stumbled across the New Year's Day Parade in London, and grabbed some shots of this
wonderful creation. Discovered later it was commissioned for a Tower Hamlets recycling campaign:

and put together by this lot: http://www.eea.org.uk/binbot.html

He's amazing! What creativity this exhibits. Great choice for this theme, too.

When I saw this I immediately thought of “Transformers “. I guess this guy must be a good one :-)
They really did a great job putting this together, most impressive.

Oh my! Incredible! Looks like it could easily recycle us!

It was very impressive in the flesh. It looked a bit cluttered against the red bricks, so I just knocked all the sliders to zero apart from purple and blue. The bands jackets were purple, which adds a fun connection to the crowd.

After just having watched 'Robots' and 'Wall-E' the other night, this guy is just awesome! The fellows that built him are pretty awesome too. He must have been somethin' to see in person. I love how you just saved the purples and blues in your photograph, you make the entire scene come to life! Great reminder to recycle!

Bruce I like the treatment. The purple immediately grabs you. The text is also great as it’s the type that appeals to the younger generation as well. ‘green” adds are often overbearing with had harsh text to try and punch a point. Well you can’t say that you are green any more but a shade of purple.

Thanks both. No I recycled it Alistair ; ) It's called Hermann. Just seemed to fit nicely.

This is great fun Bruce - where did you find that font, or did you do it yourself? Alistair
