Thanks Brent,
Before Thanksgiving, there were 11 turkeys and now there are only 10. These three are still alive and kicking. Some of the FE distortion is missing because I did a slight rotate and cropping to improve the image. Because it is the FE, I was able to just reach out with at arms length with the camera and not have to worry about the focus since anything over 3" was going to be in focus. That probably put the camera within 6-8" of the gobbler in the center. -- Bob K.
You must have been incredibly close, Bob. Really appreciate the sharpness (my birdshots always look like the birds are covered with down ;-) If this is the FishEye you must have shot it just right to avoid distortions. hahaha - judging by the date looks like they were all shot before Thanksgiving - if only by camera :-)

In many ways, these birds could be a metaphor for us. We survive when the odds are against us. Sometimes, we seem to get killed just for someone else's sport or amusement. Those who live and those who die appear to be randomly chosen. And people we trust most can often be our worst enemies, if we only knew.
Lovely fall shot! It has such strong rural character, I can readily relate.
