I bought these in Egypt from a girl that made them herself. They are just chords (probably cotton or wool) of about 30 cm with a loop in one end. You can use them for whatever you like, for example as a bracelet.

I have the same questions as Shirley and the same comments as everyone else - love the beautiful colors and the texture that is so tactile I want to reach out and rub it. Really good!! Brenda

These are very pretty colors and I see each one has 3 colors of yarn in them. You've made me curious (I'm always curious about your shots, which is why I love them)... You say these are souveniers, what do they reprsent, what are they used for, are the yarns made locally? See I am full of questions again! :o)
