Thans, Brenda and Shirley...whether it is a willow or poplar or something else I am not sure. Since I am no tree expert I'd say there's a much better chance you being right and I am wrong than vice versa, Brenda. So, I guess I will have to change the title slightly :-)

I agree with everything Brenda said. The greens are so great! It looks like summer has started all over again! Today I noticed the leaves are quickly turning to autumn's colors and then to see this tree full of green! You know, the only Willow tree I'm familiar with is the Weeping Willow so I find this Willow very interesting too. The branches do look very willowy and smooth, like the willow branches I get for my birds. Super nice shot Fred!

Wow, the light and the variations of green are gorgeous! Composition is unusual too. This is a lovely shot.

Are you sure it's a willow and not a poplar? The leaves look too rounded. Not that it makes any difference to the quality of the image, of course.

Thanks, Colin. It is indeed the same willow I have shot in the nude before.
