Frank I like the translucent look of this you can almost see through the fork.

Frank, you really know how to make a person salivate! The tomatos even look the perfect ripe red. Just so very neat! The detail is fantastic, the little kiwi hairs even show up, and everything is round with wonderful patterns. I think I would love this with or without the fork.

Thanks all for your comments. Richard, to answer your question. There are lots of methods but I create a colour balance adjustment layer, adjust till the colour of the kiwis is what I want, create a black mask (which blocks out the effect of the CB adjustment layer) and then with white foreground colour use a brush to paint the kiwis.

I think this is just terrific. The translucent fruit, the solid fork - what a combination! Perfect shot for a restaurant poster.

This beautiful, Just for my education, how do you apply a just little more green just to the kiwi?
I remeber some but not all of how to do it.

Thanks Marc. I don't know if I've learned a lot but it certainly helps actually having some strobes rather than the E500's pop up or the kitchen window. I agree with you that the kiwis should be more green but I don't want to change the overall WB so I've just applied it to the kiwis.

Excellent lighting - you've learned a lot ! Maybe the wb is a little too warm - i'd like to see the kiwis greener... Nice one though !
