My idea came from those Post WWII chests and boxes that my father brought home from Japan. They almost all were shiny black with reeds and grass painted on he sides. I always thought they were simply beautiful. I am still working on this one. I want to isolate the grass to a layer and put it on a pure black BG

Thank, you all for the nice comments. The back ground was very green and not quite as bright as the grass but I managed to suppress the BG using CS2 shadow-highlights tool. Nothing much else was done other than to crop it. The wind was kind and stopped blowing just long enough to get this one shot.

Rich, I agree, this one is really nice. The long reed angled perpendicular to the rest makes this image. Very nice.
