I grew up in a rural area but always knew I'd never make a farmer. I would name all the animals and go hungry because I could never send them off to market. LOL Look at those girls all looking at you Casey! :o)

They look like heifers. Maybe they'll escape an unpleasant fate, at least for awhile. Lovely shot, and what a beautiful setting beside the foothills and evergreens.
