You shot this from a car? Wow, that definitely illustrates finding an unexpected shot under awkward conditions - good eye!

I love hammocks but usually manage to flip out of them. This one does look invitingly placed. It and the trunks make for a good frame as well.

Thanks for the comments. This was a very bad day to attempt this picture, and I may go try again. It was actually raining (lightly) with some misty fog rolling across the lake. I saw the picture and thought of the challenge, and shot this from the car.

I think the tilt is an optical illusion created by the lake getting wider toward the left or maybe the angle of the trees.
Anyway, really nice place to hang a bed and relax!

Oh I wouldn't mind relaxing in the shade there! I really like this photo, it has a lot of interest, with the lake and the surrounding houses. I think it might be a bit better if you could tip it a bit to the left. Perhaps using those trees across the shore for a verticle line since the shores of the lake could very well go at a slant. It just seems to be slidding off to the right a bit. So, did you take a good nice nap after this shot or just before it? :o)
