People in this part of the country are very matter of fact in their observations and because the weather reporting is so poor here. People just wait for the weather they want and are glad to have it. Because of the summer heat the morning is the time for hard outside work. Because of the summer heat people like to take a little siesta after lunch which they call dinner. Because of the summer heat people sit outside at night and watch the fire flies. Because of the summer heat they must tend to their gardens every day or the fruit will spoil. Our veggie garden will not allow us to leave for more than a day and what fruit my wife will not put up in cans and we can't eat is given to the neighbors. I been here less than five years and have yet to learn much of the beauty in this country.
