one of the best evenings of this summer I spent on this square, happy about all whilst enjoying a "Chinchón dulce" on the rocks.
In the afternoon I had been gazing at a shop window where all kinds bottles with this local anisliqueur were displayed. After a while the shopkeeper, an elderly man came out and invited me in. He explained all about it and reminded me about the fact that he sold many other products. In the end we shook hands and he wished me a pleasant stay and a prosperous journey....and I walked out of the shop with two bottles of Chinchón ( "dulce" and "secco"), bread, cheese, water, olive oil....
Such a charming man! Such seemingly little encounters can have a huge impact!
