Mt Gould (Jul 2023)

This was a day hike on a sudden invite and with very little planning. After an afternoon drive and a night next to the car at the trailhead we started hiking on Kearsarge Pass Trail. When Bill suggested to have a look at the waterfall that we could see coming down from the Golden Trout Lake side, we started hiking up that valley and kept going to the top of Mt Gould. The descent was along the main trail. Diese Tageswanderung kam ohne Planung nach einer unerwarteten Einladung. Nach der Anfahrt am Nachmittag und einer Nacht neben dem Auto am Ende der Strasse starteten wir auf dem Hauptweg zum Kearsarge Pass. Nachdem Bill den Wasserfall besuchen wollte der vom Tal mit Golden Trout Lake herunterstürtzte folgen wir einfach dem Tal bis zum Gipfel von Mt Gould. Der Abstieg war am normalen Kearsarge Pass trail.
