Mount Rainier

April is quite early for Rainier but we found a perfect window of good weather. While we slogged to Camp Muir (10,080ft) the weather was still improving, but no problem. We left Camp Muir late to avoid the scramble of people trying to get out. While we left last, we soon caught up with others at Ingraham Flats (~11,100ft) and once we above the ice fields of the Ingraham direct route, there was nobody else and we had to find our own way to the summit (14,411ft). April ist sehr fruh fur diesen Berg, aber wir hatten perfektes Wetter. Am lange und muhsamen Anstieg zum Camp Muir (3072m) war das Wetter noch nicht gut, aber kein Problem. Am nachsten Morgen starteten wir spat von Camp Muir um dem trubl der anderen kletter zu entgehen. Obwohl wir das als letzte starteten hatten wir viele bei Ingraham Flats (~3380m) eingeholt und als wir uber dem Eisfall der Ingraham Direct Route waren, war niemand mehr zu sehen und wir mussten unseren eigenen Weg zum Gipfel (4392m) finden.
