Yes, I used the 250D Close-up lens. With the 40-150mm lens, there is only about 5cm workable focusing distance (~20-25cm) that shrinks rapidly above 100mm tele. The 500D is easier to work with as the focusing distance is about 35-50cm. Minimum image width with the 250D is about 2.5cm, with the 500D about 5cm.

wow did you put the close up lens on the 40-150 lens ? as I ahve the same lens Fantastic !!
