San Gorgonio (Jan 2013)

Another dayhike with David and Bram to get ourselves in better shape for more ambitious goals. The trail is long, with a lot of altitude difference. It starts at ~6050ft and leads to the summit at 11,499ft over about 8 miles. While all going was easy until High Creek Camp at about 9,200ft it turned into a real post-holing workout above that. Das war wieder eine Tageswanderung mit David und Bram um für andere Ziele in Form zu kommen. Das ist ein lager Weg mit großem Höhenunterschied. Der Start ist auf ~1840m und führt zum Gipfel auf 3505m über ca 13km. Waehrend alles schnell und einfach war bis zum High Creek Camp auf ca 2800m, von dort zum Gipfel war es sehr mühsam mit Spuren in schlechtem Schnee.
