Convict Canyon (Oct 2021)

I had a great starry night in the Alabama Hills and then continued to Convict Lake and hiked Convict Canyon to Mildred Lake. By the time I reached the Lake I was drenched from the already starting rain of the first incoming winter storm of the season. I had a nice camp at the Lake, a good morning exploration of the lake basin, before hiking back out Ich hatte eine tolle sternenklare Nacht in den Alabama Hills und fuhr dann weiter zum Convict Lake und wanderte Convict Canyon zum Mildred Lake. Als ich den See erreichte, war ich schon sehr nass vom bereits einsetzenden Regen des ersten aufziehenden Wintersturms der Saison. Ich hatte ein schönes Lager am See und erkundete am Morgen das Seebecken, bevor ich wieder hinabwanderte
