The Robin L 12,5-14cm (4.9-5.5") breeds in woodland, in parks and larger gardens. Natural food is insects, snails and worms. The nest is build in hollow tree trunks or stubs, or in hedges. The Robin is a little brownish bird with a rust-red forehead and breast with a white abdomen. It has long and thin legs and a short thin black bill. The Robin often blows the plumage up so it becomes more compact and round. |
