The Blackbird L 23,5-29cm (9.2-11.3") breeds in forests, parks and gardens. The nest is build in bushes, hedges and trees. The natural food is worms, insects and berries. Sings often the beautiful song from a tree top or antenna. The male is black with a warm yellow bill and a thin yellow eye-ring. The female is dark brown with a lighter spotted throat and breast, and has a thin yellow eye-ring like the male. |
