Ash & Main, looking west, where Mrs. Kaiser's Flower Shop once stood. (Before that was the original First State Bank and post office.) Roof collapsed a few years ago, after she closed, and now only an empty slab remains, next to convenience store, highway 77 Business (once the main highway) and railroad tracks. I remember steam engine locomotives coming through Bishop on the Missouri Pacific Railroad line! My brother Ken, along with Monte Joe Myler and others, had a gymnasium in this spot with a boxing/wrestling ring back in the 50's.
