When you look at Bishop at this phase of your life you see what it was like when you were young and every store had a story of it's own. Where you had your first hair cut by Vic, where you had your first Lay-a-way (Irby's 5&10 cent store). your school physicial (either the office of Dr. Ginther or Dr Barnett/Peace. Or soda's at the fountain at the Bishop Drug. Tires from Kieschnick's. It's kinda like marriage after a many years you see it for what it was, not what it is, but then reality sets in. Bishop is dead and the body is wasting away for lack of care. They have it schedule to be torn down by the Military as soon as they can find the time. But the mayor said that you could have all the brick you could carry away if you're there at the time. Also said they may try to sell the TEXAS theatre sign on eBay. Guess it will be a Bishop bidding war.......
