Interesting info I found: the reindeer and the caribou are the exact same animal species, scientifically named Rangifer tarandus.
In Europe and Asia, They're both called reindeer whether they live in the wild or are tamed by people. And in North America, Called caribou when they are wild, and reindeer if they are farmed or tamed.
