My first 35mm film camera Argus C3

It was my Grandpa Dan's camera, I got it in 1969.

The Argus C3 was made in Ann Arbor, Michigan from 1939 to 1966, and was the best-selling 35mm camera for nearly 30 years.

Canon PowerShot ELPH 360HS
1/8s f/5.0 at 13.1mm iso80 full exif

I wish I had kept a few of my camera's over the years, like you have kept your first camera, Dan.V

As a little kid in NY, we had a visit from California relatives. They had an Exacta SLR and an Argus C3. It was camera love at first sight, and I never looked back! V

That was a great gift from Grandpa Dan. I would have loved to have that in 1969. I got my first camera on Christmas day, 1967 which was a little plastic thing that used 127. Didn't get my first 35mm until 1977. Great portrait of this beautiful old camera. ~BV~

Photo time travel into the past. My first 35mm was an Argus which I still own today. A work of art for sure. V+

a treasure for sure...the blockish shape makes it appear utilitarian, and sturdy too...might be worth putting a roll of film through it to see the results..
