Nice job... I was working in West Bloomington at the time and my part time eve job is at Rosedale. I was on 35W at 5:45 heading to Roseville when I decided to get off on 494 and take it to 5 and go the "back way" to work. I knew the traffic had been bad on the bridge due to the resurface work they had been doing. I'm normally on that bridge somewhere around 6:05 when it failed. I was on University Ave when they broke the news on my car radio. I could see all the smoke from Highway 280 and was pretty shook up when I got to Rosedale. That was just too damn close of a call for me. V Jim.
