August 6th - The next travel day. This was a really heavy day (including a brief stop at the side of the lake to wait out a thunderstorm) and the intention was to have a layover after it again. However, the campsite we reached was lousy - back in the woods, poor water access and full of bugs. So we made the best of it and just spent one night here. Everything was quite wet, but they managed a fire anyways.
