Bosc’s fringe-toed lizard / Acanthodactylus boskianus / Imider, Sous-Massa-Dra

Fringe-toed lizards inhabit deserts and semi-deserts. The lateral fringes on their toes are a special adaptation to help them move across loose sand.

The species is endemic to northwestern Africa.
