New York has their high rise "Pale Male", We have our low rise, urban Red-tail, "Bill Board Bob".
A pair of urban Red-tailed Hawks decided to build a nest with a view; a view for the public to see, as they built it on a billboard, along a major thoroughfare in midtown Memphis. Even though the nest is in full view and open to the weather, they have hatched off two chicks. The following photos were taken May 6, 2006.
Great photography, and a wonderful, touching story. Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic. Life goes on, no matter what. Very encouraging, in spite of all the bull-dozing here in Clarksville. You've seen the book, "Red-Tails in Love," about Central Park? Rebecca Stevens, Clarksville
