Pretty poor work here but the bird would break into a string of high pitched metallic notes and I tried to get a quick shot of the bird with bad results. As most of you know, I have nerve damaged hearing on the high end but hear great at low end and I was probably not hearing all the notes.

I don't know if was just call notes or a song but even I could hear some of it. The bird would start this when the other sparrows got talkative and I also could hear similar sounds when the bird was down feeding down in the weeds.
