There are 2 males in the area, this male has a very long tail and forages as far away as 1/4 to 1/2 mile from the nest. The short-tailed male was see just across the street one day and again just south of the nest another day. I could not find any evidence of another nest but it is worth watching. The tail on the short tailed bird appears worn and broken.
